Pre-Op Instructions: Sedation Dentistry |

What you need to know prior to your “Sleep” Appointment 1. No alcohol for 24 hours before and after your appointment. 2. No stimulants for 12 hours before and after i.e. Caffeine, Nicotine. 3. You must have a responsible person drive you to and from the office. 4. You must have someone with you 12 hours after your appointment. 5. No driving for 24 hours. 6. No operating hazardous devises i.e. Chainsaw. 7. No heavy lifting. 8. No climbing stairs for 12 hours after your appointment without assistance . 9. No important decisions (NO WORK) for 24 hours. 10. No contact lenses. 11. NO FOOD OR WATER for 8 hours prior to your appointment, except for your medication that you are taking on a regular basis. 12. Take sleep medication 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment time. 13. Wear something comfortable i.e. sweatpants and sweatshirt. Please call the office with any questions you may have prior to your appointment. We want to make this appointment as relaxing for you as possible.
